Air Force Operation Eliminates Terrorists in Borno State Airstrike

Operation HADIN KAI forces successfully destroyed a militant hideout near KLA Balia in Borno State, following precise aerial surveillance and a targeted strike.

Military forces under the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI launched a targeted bombardment against a militant base in Borno State. According to reports from security analyst Zagazola Makama, the mission resulted in the complete destruction of the facility and the neutralization of the insurgents inside.

The operation took place on July 20. It was initiated after specialized surveillance technology, known as the GUARDIAN platform, detected irregular activity near KLA Balia in the Lake Chad basin. Aerial monitoring began early at 5:35 a.m., allowing for precise verification of the location.

Once the target was confirmed, a precision air attack was executed. Follow-up damage assessments showed the structure was entirely demolished by fire. The aircraft monitored the site for a short time before departing, confirming the success of the mission. This strike is part of a larger, ongoing military campaign to dismantle terrorist support networks and restrict their mobility within the North-East region.
