Actress Patricia Crowley Passes Away at 91, Days Before 92nd Birthday

Patricia Crowley, the actress celebrated for her roles in Please Don’t Eat The Daisies and Dynasty, has passed away at the age of 91.

She di£d on Sunday, September 14, in Los Angeles, just two days before her 92nd birthday.

Her son, Jon Hookstratten, Executive Vice President of Administration & Operations at Sony Pictures, confirmed that she died of natural causes. Crowley is survived by her husband, Andy Friendly, whom she married in 1986.

Crowley rose to fame playing Joan Nash in the sitcom Please Don’t Eat The Daisies from 1965 to 1967, where she portrayed a newspaper writer and mother of four.

She also appeared in 65 episodes of Generations as Rebecca Whitmore (1989–1990), and starred as Mary Scanlon in 251 episodes of Port Charles (1997–2003).

In 2005, Crowley appeared in The Bold and the Beautiful as Natalie DeWitt. She is also remembered for her role as Emily Fallmont in ten episodes of Dynasty (1986), where her character struggled to conceal a past affair that could undermine her son’s legitimacy.
