Retired Navy Commander McDonald Ubah, who serves as the Special Adviser on Security to Governor Alex Otti, announced these developments following a state cabinet meeting. Officials currently categorize the abduction as a suspected human trafficking operation. Ubah emphasized that the administration is working tirelessly to bring the children home and requested that families remain highly observant regarding child safety.
In other government updates, Information Commissioner Okey Kanu confirmed that relief supplies were distributed to citizens impacted by the recent oil pipeline blast in Owaza. State commissioners were dispatched to evaluate the damage, with the government vowing to implement measures to prevent future industrial disasters.
