The Mountain Top Chorale, representing the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), has arrived back in Nigeria following their triumph at the 2026 World Choir Games held in Sweden. The group secured gold in the Spiritual Category by earning 87.38 points before ultimately winning the Champions Competition.
Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of MFM, publicly lauded the group on social media for their successful performance. He praised the choristers, their conductor Oluwasegun Okedunmola, and the supporting leadership for their collective effort and focus. According to Olukoya, this victory serves as a high-profile example of dedication, teamwork, and the effective use of talent to honor God.
The 14th edition of the World Choir Games, hosted in Helsingborg, Sweden, ran from August 6 to August 16. The event attracted more than 8,500 singers from over 40 countries, totaling 160 participating choirs. This achievement underscores Nigeria’s growing presence and musical proficiency on the international stage.
