On Tuesday, Chelsea officially announced loan agreements for two of their players, Filip Jorgensen and Ishe Samuels-Smith. The club confirmed in an online statement that goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen will spend the upcoming season playing for the French Ligue 1 team, Strasbourg.
Jorgensen, 24, arrived at Stamford Bridge during the 2024 summer transfer window and appeared in 36 matches over the last two years. The club noted that they intend to back the goalkeeper during his tenure in France.
In a related announcement, Chelsea stated that 20-year-old defender Ishe Samuels-Smith has secured a loan move to Notts County for the duration of the 2026/27 campaign. Samuels-Smith moved to the West London side from Everton in 2023. He recently completed a loan spell with Swansea City in the Championship, where he featured in eight matches.
