PDP in Kogi Central Launches 2027 Election Campaign, Appoints Etudaiye as DG

The Kogi Central PDP has inaugurated its 2027 campaign council in Okene, appointing Dr. Salami Etudaiye as Director-General and calling for a grassroots-focused strategy.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi Central has officially established its campaign team for the 2027 general elections. Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan led the inauguration ceremony in Okene, emphasizing the necessity for an intensive, localized strategy.

Dr. Salami Etudaiye has been named the Director-General of the campaign, with Hon. Alhaji Abubakar Yahaya Karaku appointed as the Campaign Chairman. Supporting them are Secretary Jacob Ogirima Anebe, Head of Operations Ilyasu Zubair, Technical Head Isiaka Uhuanaye, and Welfare Head Jane Onoba.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan instructed the team to prioritize house-to-house and polling-unit-specific outreach to ensure direct engagement with voters. She invited new supporters to join the party, calling for unity among youth, women, and local leadership to secure electoral success.

Accepting his appointment, Dr. Etudaiye framed the role as a serious commitment to building a grassroots movement across Okene, Adavi, Ajaokuta, Okehi, and Ogori-Magongo. He pledged to utilize digital platforms and direct mobilization to ensure a decisive victory.

Hon. Karaku echoed these sentiments, urging party members to resolve internal differences and focus on the common goal. He stressed the importance of discipline, strategic communication, and recognizing that every single vote is critical to the party’s success.
