Kenneth Okonkwo, who serves as the campaign spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar of the African Democratic Congress, has stated that President Bola Tinubu is unlikely to secure victory in the 2027 polls. During a recent interview on Symfoni TV, the politician and actor insisted that the current administration will conclude its tenure by 2027.
Okonkwo expressed his belief that the way is open for Atiku to emerge as the winner. He labeled the Tinubu administration as the least effective in Nigerian history, asserting that the President would fail to win a single state if the election were not rigged. He further noted that during the 2023 cycle, his party competed without gubernatorial support and still matched Tinubu’s performance. Consequently, he argued that given the current dissatisfaction with the administration, Tinubu cannot win fairly.
