Jude Okoye, the former manager of the music duo P-Square, has formally rejected claims of financial impropriety and royalty theft made by his brother, Peter Okoye. In a video statement published on Sunday, Jude asserted that all royalty distributions followed established contracts and remain fully accounted for.
Addressing the specific accusation involving $1.2 million in missing royalties, Jude highlighted that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has already conducted an inquiry into the matter. He noted that the issue is currently under judicial review. He further dismissed claims that Peter had been barred from accessing royalty information or removed as an authorized signatory on company bank accounts.
Jude confirmed that bank statements, financial data, and digital records have been presented as evidence in court. He requested that the public disregard social media speculation and wait for the legal system to reach a final verdict.
