In an official statement released Sunday, Udeze called for the publication of an updated list that incorporates candidates selected by the National Executive Committee under his authority. The party highlights that recent Court of Appeal decisions have cemented the status of the Udeze-led executive.
The Action Alliance asserts that the current omission violates the 2022 Electoral Act, which dictates how political parties should present their nominees. The party insists its candidates were chosen through primary elections that strictly followed legal schedules. Consequently, the organization has given the electoral commission 48 hours to rectify the error, threatening further legal action if the situation persists. Additionally, the party is urging civil society and media entities to keep a close watch on the situation as it unfolds.
