Victor Anichebe leads bid to acquire English football club Bromley

Former Nigerian football star Victor Anichebe is spearheading a takeover bid for the newly-promoted League One side Bromley.

Victor Anichebe, the former Nigerian national player, is heading an attempt to purchase the English football team Bromley. Reports from The Sun indicate that Anichebe is currently in active negotiations to acquire the club, which recently earned a promotion to League One.

The current majority stakeholder, Robin Stanton-Gleaves, is engaged in discussions with the former Everton forward. Bromley is gearing up for its debut season in the third tier of English football following a period of significant success, including two promotions in three seasons. The club is seeking substantial investment to remain competitive in this higher division.

Anichebe brings extensive experience to the table, having played in the top flight of English football for over a decade. Throughout his career in England, the 38-year-old represented Everton, West Bromwich Albion, and Sunderland.
