Bala Salihu Ngalda, the head of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Pantami Ward, located in the Gombe Local Government Area of Gombe State, has officially stepped down from his role and departed from the party. His resignation, documented in a letter submitted on July 27, 2026, became effective immediately after he finished deliberating with his family members.
In his formal statement, Ngalda confirmed his departure from both his leadership position and his party membership. He refrained from sharing details regarding his future political intentions or if he plans to align with a different organization. Ngalda took time to acknowledge the APC leadership across all levels—from the ward to the national branch—for the chance he had to hold the office.
