Television host Savannah Guthrie has released a new social media video directed at those responsible for the abduction of her mother, Nancy. She is urgently requesting that the captors reveal her mother’s whereabouts, pleading with them to do the right thing.
Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her residence near Tucson, Arizona, on January 31. While law enforcement considers the abduction a criminal matter, no suspects have been detained and no specific motive has been established. Investigators have been dealing with at least two ransom notes, one of which suggested the 84-year-old had passed away. Previous communication had demanded a multi-million dollar Bitcoin payment for her safe return.
In the video posted on Monday, Savannah Guthrie described the ongoing anguish faced by her family since the kidnapping occurred nearly six months ago. She emphasized that their search remains relentless and urged the abductors to help resolve the situation, stating her belief that it is never too late to make a moral choice. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI continue their active investigation into the case, which began when relatives dropped Nancy off at her home shortly before she went missing. Authorities previously released footage of a masked, armed figure tampering with a security camera at the property.
