The Osun State Police Command has identified five individuals as wanted persons following a surge in violence tied to regional political instability. Spokesperson Abiodun Ojelabi confirmed that authorities are actively pursuing those believed to be responsible for fatal clashes and property damage.
The individuals named in the police report are Dauda Olamilekan, also called Emir; Taoreed, known as Small Rugged; Adetunji Kamoru Olatunde; Saka Afees, referred to as Terror; and Adeyemi Saheed. Law enforcement officers are requesting that anyone with information regarding these suspects contact their local authorities immediately.
Since June, Osun State has experienced escalating political friction, resulting in multiple deaths. Notable victims include teenager Olapade Ezekiel in Ilobu, Comrade Abdullateef Olamilekan, 70-year-old Kazeem Akande in Osogbo, Ajayi Aderogba in Esa-Oke, and an individual named Eluyera in Ikire. The police command emphasized its dedication to restoring order and holding those responsible for the violence accountable.
