The Allied Peoples Movement has officially designated Grace Oluwatobi Coker as its candidate for deputy governor in the upcoming 2027 Lagos State gubernatorial race. Coker joins the party’s flagbearer, Prince Laja Adeoye, on the ticket with a stated goal of delivering effective governance.
Speaking on Saturday, Coker expressed deep gratitude for the nomination, calling it a significant responsibility. She thanked God, the party leadership, and the public for their trust. She also acknowledged Prince Laja Adeoye as her mentor and principal, affirming her dedication to achieving a victory for the party.
Coker extended her thanks to the APM structure, from the national level down to the polling units, as well as her campaign team and volunteers. She highlighted the support of her home constituency, Ibeju-Lekki, and emphasized that she is committed to the party’s vision of accountability and sustainable development. She concluded by pledging her loyalty and cooperation to ensure the party succeeds in the 2027 polls.
