Manchester United has reached an agreement to acquire Andrey Santos from Chelsea in a transaction valued at £50 million. According to Sky Sports, the financial package consists of an initial payment of £48 million, with an additional £2 million tied to performance-based incentives.
As part of the contractual terms, Chelsea has secured a 10% sell-on clause should United transfer the player in the future. Santos, who originally joined Chelsea from Vasco da Gama, has previously gained experience through loan spells at Nottingham Forest and the Chelsea-affiliated club Strasbourg.
During the most recent campaign, the midfielder appeared in 43 games, contributing three goals and four assists. Beyond this acquisition, Manchester United is reportedly working on a deal to bring Ederson from the Serie A side Atalanta to the club this summer.
