Goalkeeper Selma Panengstuen joins Tottenham from SK Brann, reuniting with manager Martin Ho after a successful 2025 season in Norway.

Selma Panengstuen, the 23-year-old Norwegian international goalkeeper, has finalized her transfer to Tottenham Hotspur in the Women’s Super League. The player described the move as a long-held ambition.

Panengstuen previously flourished under the guidance of current Spurs manager Martin Ho at the Norwegian club SK Brann. During their 2025 league title-winning season, she maintained 18 clean sheets across 27 appearances. Her recent form has been exceptional, recording eight clean sheets in 11 matches this season. Additionally, she made her senior international debut for Norway in June 2025 and featured in a Champions League qualifier victory over Manchester United later that year.

Reflecting on her decision, Panengstuen highlighted the club’s upward trajectory and positive feedback from existing contacts at the team. Martin Ho praised the new signing for her shot-stopping, athleticism, and dedication, noting that she possesses the specific attributes the coaching staff prioritizes.
