Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal has restated his government’s dedication to assisting security forces within the region. He shared this commitment on Thursday during the routine State Security Council assembly held at the Government House in Gusau.
Sulaiman Bala Idris, the governor’s spokesperson, noted that the gathering included leaders from all security branches active in the state. The primary topics of the meeting included increasing the security presence in unstable districts and refining how authorities manage sudden security incidents.
Governor Lawal informed the security heads that he is prepared to implement any actions required to improve the operational capacity and wellbeing of the personnel stationed across the state. He specifically discussed the necessity of bolstering troop numbers and upgrading emergency response strategies.
Protecting the citizens of Zamfara is the central goal of his administration, Lawal stated. He invited ongoing cooperation with security leadership, promising that his office will continue to provide the resources and support needed to address persistent security difficulties.
