Governor Dauda Lawal has officially sanctioned the distribution of stipends to National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) personnel currently deployed within Zamfara State. This move highlights the government’s focus on supporting the needs of these individuals as they assist in local development initiatives.
According to Mahmud Muhammad Dantawasa, the Commissioner for Information and Culture, this financial support applies to corps members across all streams, specifically Batch A Stream I and II through to Batch C Stream I and II. The government aims to honor the hard work and loyalty shown by these graduates in fields such as healthcare, farming, and education.
The Governor has instructed the Accountant General’s office to organize the logistics required to execute these payments promptly. Officials stated that the state appreciates the service of these corps members and is dedicated to maintaining an efficient delivery process for the promised allowances.
