The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the North-West has initiated a comprehensive tour across seven states to build momentum for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections. This strategy was finalized during a leadership gathering at the party’s regional headquarters in Kaduna, led by Zonal Secretary Hon. Isah Sadiq Achida.
Malam Musa Mailafiya Mada, the Zonal Publicity Secretary, highlighted the North-West as a vital region that was instrumental to the president’s 2023 success. The upcoming tour aims to solidify party structures through direct engagement with regional stakeholders. The leadership noted that for the first time in history, the APC holds all seven states in the zone, marking a significant political achievement.
During the session, the party expressed gratitude to Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, for providing a utility vehicle to assist the zonal secretariat’s activities. Furthermore, the leadership acknowledged the contributions of state governors and prominent figures, including Deputy Senate President Barau I. Jibrin and Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, for their steadfast backing of President Tinubu’s administration. The party encouraged its members to maintain this progress as the 2027 election cycle approaches.
