The All Progressives Congress in Kebbi State has officially suspended its State Chairman, Abubakar Muhammad Kana-Zuru, alongside the Zuru Local Government Area chairman, Aliyu Abubakar Abiola. This disciplinary measure addresses claims that both men disregarded party protocols and failed to uphold core principles. State APC Secretary Sa’idu Muhammad Kimba confirmed the decision in Birnin Kebbi, noting that investigations were launched following grievances from Zuru Emirate stakeholders regarding lackluster mobilization and poor communication with key party members. The Deputy State Chairman will assume leadership duties on an interim basis. In a concurrent action, the Kebbi State Government announced the immediate suspension of Commissioner for Livestock Development and Fisheries, Kabir Usman Alaramma Zuru. Secretary to the State Government Yakubu Bala-Tafida mandated that Zuru relinquish all government assets to his Permanent Secretary while the suspension remains active.
