Biafra Veterans Declare Unconditional Support for Nnamdi Kanu

Biafra war veterans have issued a formal statement pledging total loyalty to IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu following recent internal leadership restructuring and the dissolution of the 3rd Directorate of State.

A group of Biafra war veterans has publicly reaffirmed their allegiance to Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). This declaration follows recent internal instability sparked by the disbandment of the organization’s 3rd Directorate of State (DOS).

In a formal address released Monday in Umuahia, Elder Sunday I. Nwokejie and Colonel Emma U. Kalu stated their full backing for Kanu. This move serves as a direct response to the leader’s recent decision to dismiss members of the former DOS administration, which was previously headed by Chika Edoziem.

The veterans praised Kanu for his resilience and sacrifices, labeling him an incorruptible leader who has endured significant hardship for the Biafran cause. They emphasized that his leadership is essential and beyond reproach, dismissing those currently creating discord within the group as lacking the experience or dedication that Kanu has demonstrated.

Addressing the movement, the veterans urged supporters to remain unified and to offer their full cooperation to the newly established 4th Directorate of State. They also called for the immediate and unconditional release of Kanu, expressing their conviction that his long-term goal of Biafran restoration remains inevitable.
