Police Arrest Alleged Burglar, Recover N577,000 Worth Of Stolen Goods

The Ogun Police Command arrested a suspected burglar, Idris Salawu, and recovered stolen goods worth N577000 from him.

 

Salawu is suspected of robbing a house in the Liberty Area of Ogijo, located in the Sagamu Area of the state.

 

The alleged robbery took place on Wednesday, June 26, and the suspect was apprehended on Thursday, June 27, at a hideout where the stolen items were recovered.

 

The items stolen from the home include a generator, a gas cylinder, a rechargeable fan, an Orl fan, a blender, a Storex tank, two packs of plates, and female jewellery.

 

While Salawu has been arrested, his accomplices are on the run and efforts are being made to apprehend them.
