Tems Becomes First African To Perform At FIFA Club World Cup Final Halftime Show (Video)
Nigerian singer Tems etched her name in the history books as the first artist from Africa to perform at the halftime show of the FIFA Club World Cup final.
The performance, held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, saw her share the stage with American rapper Doja Cat and Colombian superstar J Balvin. The show—curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin—was uniquely staged above the stands to preserve the condition of the pitch.
Among the high-profile attendees at the event was U.S. President Donald Trump.
