Denise Richards’ Husband Aaron Phypers Files For Divorce After Six Years Of Marriage

Aaron Phypers, the husband of actress and reality star Denise Richards, has filed for divorce after six years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause of the split.

According to court documents filed on Monday, July 7, Phypers listed the couple’s separation date as July 4, 2025, just days before submitting the divorce petition.

The couple, who wed in September 2018, do not share children together. Richards, however, has three daughters from previous relationships Sami, 20, and Lola, 19, whom she shares with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, and Eloise, 13, whom she adopted in 2011 after her split from Sheen.

In his filing, Phypers is requesting spousal support, claiming that Richards earns over $250,000 per month through a combination of her OnlyFans content, reality TV show, and brand endorsements. Phypers, who stated he’s had no income in the past 12 months following the closure of his business, also noted that their household expenses average around $105,000 per month. This reportedly includes:

$20,000 on clothing, $18,000 for rent, $15,000 on entertainment, $15,000 on dining out, $10,000 on groceries, $8,000 in utilities

The couple’s relationship had been featured on Richards’ reality series, “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things,” offering fans a peek into their marriage. Phypers’ request for support comes amid what appears to be a significant financial imbalance between the two.

Interestingly, Richards had previously expressed reluctance to ever go through another divorce. In the premiere episode of her Peacock show, she said during a confessional:

“I’m never getting divorced again. Even if we hate each other, I’m not gonna fing get divorced.”

Phypers responded lightheartedly at the time:

“No, we’ll just have different homes or something. But we’re not gonna hate each other.”

Phypers was previously married to Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan from 2015 until their divorce was finalized in August 2018 just a month before he married Richards.

As of press time, Richards has not publicly commented on the divorce filing.
