The Yobe State Police Command has strengthened security protocols at the Dazigau National Youth Service Corps camp in Nangere. Commissioner of Police Usman Kanfani Jibrin visited the location on Tuesday to personally oversee the new protective strategy for public infrastructure.
During his address, CP Jibrin urged corps members to maintain high levels of awareness. He emphasized the importance of identifying warning signs and reporting suspicious behavior to camp officials immediately. The state coordinator for the NYSC, Okochi Okpara, welcomed the police delegation and highlighted the critical nature of the partnership between security forces and the corps for maintaining a safe environment.
The commissioner also conducted a thorough inspection of the grounds. He directed the officers stationed at the site to remain dedicated and proactive. The visit concluded with the 2026 Batch B Stream I participants performing parade drills and martial arts demonstrations to display their training progress.
