Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, announced on Thursday that President Bola Tinubu has successfully met his commitments regarding road development in the capital. This declaration occurred as Wike inaugurated the Old Keffi Road, stretching from Kado Fish Market to Deidei, as part of the administration’s third-anniversary celebrations.
During the event, Wike emphasized that the Renewed Hope Agenda is actively restoring confidence among residents. He noted that the 16-kilometer road project is a direct response to public needs. Addressing concerns from nearby communities, Wike revealed that he has instructed the Executive Secretary of the FCDA to dispatch the construction firm Lubriks to address additional connectivity issues in the Gaduwa area, ensuring farmers and residents gain better access to their lands.
The minister praised the President for his focus on tangible outcomes, stating that the administration’s priority is to provide relief to citizens who previously felt neglected. Wike concluded by thanking the President for authorizing the necessary infrastructure investments and confirming that work is set to commence immediately.
