US Marshals Detain Andrew and Tristan Tate on UK Extradition Warrant

Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested in Miami by US Marshals due to an extradition request from the UK involving 59 new criminal allegations.

Social media figure Andrew Tate and his sibling, Tristan Tate, were taken into custody in Miami by the US Marshals Service. The operation followed a formal request from the United Kingdom regarding pending criminal accusations.

While the US Marshals Service acknowledged the arrests on Saturday, they kept the warrant details private. The UK Crown Prosecution Service confirmed the brothers are wanted to face 59 charges, with 42 linked to Andrew Tate and 17 to Tristan Tate. Malcolm McHaffie of the CPS reported that the new case involves allegations of rape, human trafficking for sexual exploitation, and the distribution of indecent images involving a child.

These charges stem from updated evidence gathered by Bedfordshire Police, identifying seven alleged victims. Beyond these claims, Andrew Tate is under investigation for sexual assault incidents reported between 2014 and 2015. Both men also face accusations of tax evasion and money laundering within the UK.

Defense attorney Joseph McBride maintains the brothers’ innocence. He stated that the legal team expects their clients to be cleared once a judge reviews the evidence, describing the US government’s involvement as an overreach of authority. Both brothers possess dual British and American citizenship and have openly backed Donald Trump.
