Reality star and singer Uriel Oputa has paid tribute to her late uncle, veteran Nollywood actor Fabian Adibe, who passed away at the age of 82.
In a heartfelt message shared via Instagram Stories, Uriel expressed both grief and frustration, hinting at the “fake love” she expects from people who failed to show support during her uncle’s lifetime.
“I’m just waiting for the fake love to start. I can’t say much out of respect, but you see this one here, it’s very personal to me. Nobody checked on my uncle. To my bestie Chi and her sister NK, God bless you both for what you did for Popsi. Rest on sir,” she wrote.
Adibe, a respected screen veteran fondly remembered for his role in the TV adaptation of Things Fall Apart and other Nollywood classics, died on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
