Starting Monday, June 29, 2026, the United Arab Emirates has officially permitted its citizens to travel to Lebanon. This decision marks the end of a travel prohibition that lasted several weeks, which was originally implemented in April due to regional hostilities and tensions involving Iran.
As reported by the state-run WAM news agency, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the travel ban is being lifted immediately. Emirati travelers are requested to register through the ministry’s consular services website prior to their departure.
While the restrictions concerning Lebanon have been removed, the UAE maintains its travel ban for nationals intending to visit Iran. Meanwhile, travel connectivity is slowly being restored in the region, with direct flights between Tehran and Dubai resuming on Monday following the cessation of the recent conflict.
