Al-Hilal have increased their offer in a renewed effort to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer.
The proposed deal could make Osimhen the highest-paid African footballer.
According to Goal, the Saudi Pro League club has presented a contract worth up to €50 million annually, excluding bonuses, to entice the 26-year-old.
Previously, Al-Hilal had offered €30 million per year after activating his €75 million release clause, but Osimhen turned it down.
Although they aimed to complete the transfer before the Club World Cup, an agreement couldn’t be reached.
Nonetheless, Al-Hilal remain keen on the Super Eagles forward and are determined to secure his signing.
Currently, the highest-paid African player is Riyad Mahrez, who earns €1,003,846 per week at Al-Ahli following his move from Manchester City.
