This public display led head coach Cesar Peixoto to cancel the practice, while the organization increased security at the Compton Park facility. The confrontation stems from a transfer conflict between the striker and the club. While Wolves have reportedly greenlit a deal with Trabzonspor, Arokodare is said to prefer a transfer to the Italian side Fiorentina.
Addressing the situation online on Tuesday, Arokodare stated that his conduct was rooted in a commitment to his professional career. He emphasized that as a contracted player, he aimed to maintain his physical readiness and perform his professional duties despite being excluded from first-team activities. The club is currently navigating a period of transition following their relegation to the English Championship.
