TIM Motors Launches Geely Galaxy Lineup to Transform Nigeria’s Energy Mobility Sector

TIM Motors has introduced the Geely Galaxy lineup in Nigeria, pairing new energy vehicles with a strong emphasis on localized service infrastructure and technological support.

When discussing the future of transit, the conversation often centers on vehicle specs. However, true mobility relies on robust infrastructure, reliable service, and customer confidence. TIM Motors recently showcased this commitment during its official Nigerian launch of the Geely Galaxy series, debuting the Geely EX5, Geely EX5 EM-i, and Geely EX2. Rather than just shipping vehicles, the company spent 18 months building service workshops, training local technicians, and stocking spare parts to support a changing automotive landscape.

Economic pressures like rising fuel costs and a younger, tech-focused consumer base are driving demand for more efficient, intelligent transport. Leon Zhan, General Manager at TIM International, highlighted Nigeria as a primary market for this transition due to its entrepreneurial spirit. The firm’s strategy prioritizes a comprehensive support network, ensuring that buyers feel secure with their purchase.

The lineup offers diverse options for various needs. The Geely EX5 EM-i, a plug-in hybrid SUV, balances electric efficiency with the range of a petrol engine, boasting a 1,000-kilometre combined range. It features a modern interior, 15.4-inch HD display, and safety systems like Collision Mitigation and Lane Change Assist. Additionally, its Vehicle-to-Load capability allows the car to power external devices during outages. Alongside this hybrid model, the company released the fully electric Geely EX5 and the compact Geely EX2, aiming to provide flexibility for all types of drivers. Interested customers can visit the showroom at 5, L.J. Dosunmu Street, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos, or call +234-911-119-8888 for test drives.
