At least ten national squads have officially exited the 2026 World Cup. Curacao is the most recent team to be knocked out following a 2-0 defeat against Ivory Coast. Nicolas Pepe netted both goals for the Elephants, securing their place in the knockout phase and ending the hopes of the first-time participants.
Additional North American countries eliminated from the competition include Panama and Haiti. From Europe, Scotland, Turkey, and the Czech Republic have all seen their tournament journeys conclude. The Asian contingent of Qatar, Uzbekistan, and Jordan have also been sent home, along with Tunisia, which remains the sole African representative eliminated so far.
Six additional countries are scheduled to be removed from the field before the Round of 32 officially commences.
