Tango Brook Technologies Unveils Digital Fuel Card To Tackle Fraud And Cut Costs
Tango Brook Technologies has introduced the Tango Fuel Card, a digital fuel management system aimed at helping individuals and businesses gain greater transparency, security, and rewards in managing fuel expenditure.
In a statement on Tuesday, the company explained that the Tango Fuel Card comes with physical payment cards accepted at fuel stations nationwide, supported by detailed reports, analytics, and tracking devices to monitor consumption and curb fraud.
According to the company, the system can cut fuel theft by up to 95 per cent, set spending limits, prevent leaks before they occur, and provide real-time transaction details, including exact volumes purchased per transaction.
Managing Director Obi Wemambu described the innovation as a game-changer:
“The Tango Fuel Card transforms fuel management by giving businesses and individuals real-time visibility into consumption, mileage, and spending at both vehicle and driver levels. With PIN protection, customisable limits, and nationwide acceptance, it offers unmatched flexibility, security, and convenience.”
Chief Operating Officer Dubem Okafor added that the launch represents more than just payment convenience:
“This isn’t just about payments; it’s about giving customers transparency, convenience, and value every time they power their journeys.”
The card also integrates loyalty benefits, allowing users to save up to 15 per cent on fuel costs and earn bonuses of up to 8 per cent on budgets. Businesses can also leverage corporate spending controls to set limits for drivers and strengthen accountability.
To access the service, customers must create an account, activate their wallet, request a fuel card, and begin fuelling, tracking, and saving.
