Sowore Proposes AI and Drones for Key Ministerial Roles in 2027

African Action Congress candidate Omoyele Sowore plans to integrate AI and drone technology into his cabinet if elected president in 2027 to combat corruption and improve efficiency.

Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate for the African Action Congress, has announced plans for his 2027 campaign that prioritize digital integration in governance. He intends to utilize artificial intelligence to manage national finances and drones to enhance security operations.

Sharing his vision on the X platform, Sowore stated that artificial intelligence would serve as Minister of Finance to remove human interference and corruption from fiscal management. Simultaneously, he envisions drone technology acting as Minister of Defence to provide superior surveillance and rapid response capabilities. He believes these tools will replace inefficient, patronage-based systems with objective, data-led administration.

Furthermore, the candidate plans to incorporate blockchain technology to secure public records. By using an immutable ledger, he aims to document all government expenditures and contracts, making fraud much harder to hide. Continuous AI monitoring would provide real-time audits to identify irregularities before funds are lost.

Sowore asserts that these measures will streamline government functions, reducing the need for large, slow-moving bureaucracies. By prioritizing automated efficiency over traditional administrative waste, he hopes to create a faster, more transparent government structure that directly improves the lives of citizens.
