Sia has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Daniel Bernad, after two years of marriage.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the Australian singer-songwriter listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the separation, which took place on March 18, 2025.

The filing also revealed that the 49-year-old artist quietly welcomed her third child, her first with Bernad, nearly a year ago. Their baby, named Somersault Wonder Bernad, was born on March 27, 2024.

Sia is requesting legal and physical custody of their 11-month-old while allowing Bernad visitation rights. However, she has asked the court to deny her ex spousal support.

The couple legally married in 2023 and later held a private, candlelit ceremony at Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s Villa Olivetta in Portofino, Italy, with just six guests in attendance.

Before her marriage to Bernad, Sia was previously married to filmmaker Erik Anders Lang. The two tied the knot at her Palm Springs home in August 2014, just months after announcing their engagement. However, they split in December 2016.
