Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran were seen sharing a friendly moment at Coachella, seemingly putting their turbulent history behind them.

The former couple, once embroiled in legal battles that included a 2017 restraining order filed by Tran against Brown for alleged threats and abuse, were photographed smiling and conversing at the Indio, California music festival on Saturday. One image even captured Tran laughing at something Brown said, signaling a noticeable thaw in their relationship.

The restraining order, which was granted for five years, has now expired. During that period, tensions ran high between Brown and several of Tran’s partners, including a public spat with rapper Quavo. Their Coachella interaction, however, suggests that any lingering animosity may have finally faded.
