Oseni specifically addressed Senator Francis Fadahunsi, who faces allegations of threatening violence against Accord Party members during the Osun State election cycle. The senator claimed the incriminating video was a product of AI, though Oseni noted this conflicted with his later assertion that he merely intended to win through ballot box superiority. Oseni suggested the police possess sufficient evidence to pursue the matter if they were truly impartial.
Drawing comparisons, Oseni highlighted that figures like Sheikh Gumi, MC Oluomo, and Jingir often operate without the strict scrutiny applied to others. He contrasted this with the treatment of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB, noting that certain citizens face severe consequences for speech while others enjoy immunity.
Furthermore, Oseni linked these issues to the broader religious tensions in the nation, citing the controversial Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket as a point of division.
