PUBG MOBILE Partners with Nigerian Artist Ayomaff for Regional Campaign

PUBG MOBILE has teamed up with Nigerian artist Ayomaff to release the track Ya Man and launch a localized campaign for its African player base.

PUBG MOBILE has unveiled its inaugural collaboration with an African performer, selecting Nigerian Afro Street Pop star Ayomaff to headline a new initiative for the Version 4.5 update across Africa. This project integrates tactical mobile gaming with the vibrant energy of African youth culture, aligning with the game developer’s goal to produce localized content for regional fans.

The centerpiece of this collaboration is the original track Ya Man, written by Ayomaff specifically for the game. Drawing from the street sounds of Lagos, the song captures the essence of squad-based gameplay, survival, and mutual support. The campaign utilizes the phrase Ya Man, We Move, which merges an expression of confidence with a popular term for resilience in the face of adversity. This motto encourages players to remain determined and work together to secure the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.

Beginning August 7, players in Africa will gain access to exclusive in-game items themed around Ayomaff, allowing them to showcase local cultural influence within the game. The campaign extends beyond the digital interface, featuring a dedicated music video, influencer collaborations, social media challenges, and regional esports tournaments.
