Born on July 25, 1963, Umahi previously served two terms as the governor of Ebonyi State and held a seat in the Senate for Ebonyi South before joining the current federal cabinet. Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, shared a statement on Saturday highlighting Tinubu’s admiration for the minister’s work ethic and patriotic spirit.

Tinubu noted that Umahi stands out as an exceptional member of his team.
