Pitbull and his dedicated fanbase have officially set a Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of individuals wearing bald caps during his headline performance at BST Hyde Park. The rapper, known as Mr Worldwide, has inspired a growing trend where concertgoers attend his shows dressed in his trademark suits and sunglasses while wearing bald caps.
A total of 22,141 participants gathered before the main stage in London to be counted. Pitbull, born Armando Christian Perez, expressed his gratitude, describing the feat as an honor and a blessing. The initiative was championed by BBC Radio 1 presenter Greg James and content creator Jack Remmington, who worked together to organize the attempt.
Despite the intense 32C heat, fans remained enthusiastic, praising the artist for his positive influence and energetic persona. Following the record confirmation, the Miami-born musician delivered a performance featuring his most popular tracks. Throughout his career, which began in the Latin hip-hop scene, Pitbull has achieved international success with hits such as I Know You Want Me and Hotel Room Service, alongside numerous collaborations with industry icons.
The event also featured performances by Kesha, Tinie Tempah, and Lil Jon, highlighting the enduring appeal of artists who define significant moments in their fans’ lives. Tempah remarked on the importance of music in creating lasting memories, noting how listeners often connect with songs that remind them of different stages of their personal growth.
