Oyo State ADP gubernatorial hopeful labels APC and PDP regimes as failures

Kunle Olatunji, the ADP gubernatorial candidate for Oyo State, argues that the APC and PDP have failed to deliver effective leadership and promises that his party will provide a better alternative in 2027.

Mr. Kunle Olatunji, the Action Democratic Party (ADP) candidate for governor in Oyo State, claims that leaders from both the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have let the residents down. These two parties have held power in the region since the start of the current democratic era in 1999.

In a statement released on Tuesday in Ibadan regarding the 2027 elections, Olatunji asserted that his party is prepared to end the long-standing dominance of the APC and PDP. He criticized both parties for neglecting to implement projects that truly benefit the public. According to Olatunji, the state requires leadership focused on clear vision and effective governance to regain its reputation as a trendsetter.

Olatunji stated that the increasing popularity of the ADP signals that voters are seeking a fresh alternative. He promised that if elected, his administration would implement comprehensive reforms centered on accountability, competence, and a commitment to the collective welfare of the people.
