Gboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, claimed on Thursday that Governor Ademola Adeleke and his political camp are headed for a loss in the upcoming Osun State election. Oyetola, who represents the All Progressives Congress and served as the state’s former governor prior to his 2022 loss to Adeleke, addressed supporters at a massive rally in Osogbo.
During the event, Oyetola called upon the electorate to support the APC nominee, Bola Oyebamiji. He characterized the current administration as thoughtless for cancelling their own concluding rally. Urging citizens to head to the polls with their voting cards, the Minister instructed supporters to locate the broom symbol on the ballot. He concluded by asserting that while APC voters will celebrate their success, the current administration will face disappointment once the results are finalized.
