Nigerian-American television personality and actress Osas Ighodaro has been cast as the lead in Imported Bahu, an upcoming Nolly-Bollywood micro-drama series. Executive producer Hamisha Daryani Ahuja introduced the project on Monday, confirming that Ighodaro will appear alongside Bollywood star Rajniesh Duggall. Ahuja, founder of Forever 7 Entertainment, noted on Instagram that this production represents the company’s inaugural venture into vertical micro-drama formats. The series follows a woman whose arrival disrupts her new family’s life. Audiences can watch the series starting July 2, 2026, exclusively on LebaraPlay, which is billed as Africa’s first telecom-backed micro-drama service.
Known for her previous cross-cultural films like Namaste Wahala and Postcards, Ahuja continues her mission of uniting African and Indian cinematic narratives.
