Nyesom Wike: President Tinubu Delivers on Promises and Resolves FCT Issues

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike asserts that President Tinubu’s government is dedicated to resolving infrastructure challenges and honoring its commitments to the public.

Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike stated on Wednesday that the administration of President Bola Tinubu remains committed to keeping its pledges to the citizens of Nigeria and the capital territory. Wike emphasized that the current government focuses on actively addressing public challenges.

These remarks were made during the inauguration of the seven-kilometer Phase 1 of the Kuje to Gwagwalada Dual Carriage Way, a project launched to mark the third anniversary of the Tinubu administration. Wike noted that many previously neglected roads hindered transportation and restricted the ability of security forces to respond to criminal activity.

The minister highlighted the revitalization of the road connecting the airport to Kuje town, which had been abandoned by previous contractors and was allegedly utilized by criminals to escape detection. After consultation with local leaders, the government intervened to restart construction. Wike affirmed that the president prioritizes the well-being of the populace, noting that the administration remains dedicated to finishing infrastructure projects as promised to local stakeholders.
