Longtime Nollywood performer Omotunde Ogundimu has disclosed her ongoing struggle with cervical cancer. During a discussion on the Talk to B podcast with fellow actor Biola Adebayo, she shared details about her health crisis.
Ogundimu, a widow since 2012 and a mother of three, has been dealing with this medical condition privately since 2025. She expressed frustration regarding her limited opportunities within the film industry, noting that requests for work have largely gone unanswered.
Highlighting the immense financial strain the illness has placed on her and her children, she stated that her family’s resources are exhausted. Despite her initial reluctance, she is now publicly pleading for financial assistance to cover medical treatments. She also issued an apology to her industry peers, asking for forgiveness for any past grievances as she seeks support to overcome the debilitating pain and secure her survival.
