Nigerians Express Concerns Over Empty Lagos Airport Due to High Flight Ticket Prices
A traveler shared a photo on X, claiming it showed the Murtala Muhammad International Airport in Lagos on the morning of September 24.
The image depicted an almost empty waiting area, with only a few passengers present.
The traveler noted the high price for a return ticket from Lagos to Abuja, which was 143,000 naira.

Other Nigerians echoed similar frustrations on the platform, lamenting the exorbitant costs of flight tickets.
Many expressed disbelief at the prices, emphasizing how they’ve made travel increasingly unaffordable for ordinary citizens.
