Nigerian Army personnel, in collaboration with local hunters, have captured an individual accused of providing supplies to Boko Haram militants. The operation took place in the Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
Authorities identified the 40-year-old suspect as Mallam Badamasi Maikudi. He was taken into custody in the town of Garaha after residents noticed his irregular behavior.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama shared the update via social media on Saturday. He stated that members of the 232 Battalion Tactical unit coordinated the arrest alongside community hunters who had been tracking the suspect’s movements.
Early reports suggest Maikudi consistently delivered food items and energy drinks to a known terrorist encampment. He is presently held by the military, where officials are investigating the depth of his involvement with the extremist organization.
