Nigeria Police Recruitment: Aptitude Tests Scheduled for Late April
The Police Service Commission has officially scheduled the Computer-Based Aptitude Test for the current recruitment drive for April 28 through April 30, 2026.
This assessment follows the conclusion of the physical and document verification process, which is set to finish on April 18 across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Ahmad Rufa’i, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Sokoto State Command, confirmed that this test is a vital step in selecting qualified personnel for the Nigeria Police Force. He noted that the duration of the testing period may vary by state based on the volume of applicants and the local availability of testing facilities.
While some states might finish the evaluation in a single day, others will utilize the full three-day window to ensure all eligible candidates are assessed. Rufa’i emphasized that the scheduling remains flexible to manage operational requirements effectively.
Applicants are encouraged to stay calm and monitor official communication channels for specific information regarding venue assignments and the list of successful candidates.
The police also advised the public to disregard unofficial reports, stressing that all verified updates will come through authorized platforms as part of the broader effort to bolster the force’s operational strength.
