Nasarawa Amazons and Heartland Queens Set for Women’s President Federation Cup Final

Nasarawa Amazons and Heartland Queens have secured their spots in the 2026 Women’s President Federation Cup final following semi-final victories.

The 2026 Women’s President Federation Cup final will feature a showdown between Nasarawa Amazons and Heartland Queens. Nasarawa Amazons secured their spot by beating Sunshine Queens 2-1 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu. Ayatsea Hembafan scored first for the Amazons in the 18th minute, and although Sunshine Queens leveled the score late in stoppage time, Jumoke Alani quickly responded with the decisive goal to seal the victory.

Meanwhile, Heartland Queens advanced after a 2-1 win against FC Robo Queens at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City. Umejiaku Oluebube headed in the opener for Heartland Queens midway through the first half. Tosin Rafiu leveled the match for FC Robo Queens after halftime, but Faith Samson secured the win with an 87th-minute header off a Chizoba Johnson corner kick.

The championship match is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 11, at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.
